The Old Port Royale Food Court, Shutters, Banana Cabana Pool Bar, and Calypso Trading Post at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will all be closed starting May 1st, 2017 as part of the ongoing re-imagining of the resort.
Starting at that time, Centertown will serve breakfast and dinner and a variety of grab-an-go options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be available at markets located in the Aruba, Jamaica, and Martinique sections of the resort.
These establishments are scheduled to return in late 2017 (as of right now).
Oh is this where they’re building the gondolas that WDWMagic first reported on?
Oh my God who cares who reported it first. It’s not even official. You, and many others on WDWInfo, WDWMagic, even here, and especially MiceAge (those are the only ones that come to mind, but there’s no doubt many other sites) care more about that than actual park/resort progress. Disney has some insane fanboys, and Tom’s #1 fan! is leading the pack.
I will be awesome to stay at this hotel this year, with nowhere to eat and dust all over
It’s funny because you spelled the word with $$ which matched the current Disney management’s goal: your $$ for dust
Are you actually familiar with the layout of CBR? I am. I doubt that there will be dust all of over the entire resort.
Another Disney intern making excuses. Enjoy your half hotel paying full price.
I most certainly will, since I prefer to prefer to think positively.
I wish the CBR will have a pirate themed to this.
So is there no bar?
