In a letter to employees of the Walt Disney Company today, CEO Bob Chapek announced Disney would be pausing all political donations in the state of Florida.
Chapek apologized to Cast Members for not taking a stand against the “Don’t Say Gay” bill in Florida earlier.
“We are hard at work creating a new framework for our political giving that will ensure our advocacy better reflects our values,” he wrote. Political donations in Florida will be paused during this review. He promised we will “hear more about our progress in the coming weeks.”

But I thought there was only issue with the GOP? HMM Huge backfire for the Dems
Notice the word “paused” is used indicating they will do it again. They will continue supporting classist, xenophobic, racist, and homophobic politicians as soon as they anticipate people have forgotten about this incident. This really should have been an announcement to the end of all political contributions.
