Disney announced this morning that the new ride replacing Splash Mountain would be called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and open in late 2024. They have now revealed Princess Tiana’s new outfit for the ride.
Tiana is wearing brown boots, grey pants, and a yellow top with a red bandana. She also has a green jacket and a brown hat to wear over her curly bobbed hair.
This outfit is similar though not exactly the same as what Tiana was shown wearing in concept art for the attraction. As we know, many things can change from concept art to final product.

Despite the controversy of re-theming an iconic attraction, I can appreciate the fact this doesn’t appear to be yet another movie rehash like The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure (there’s that overused “so-and-so’s “ADVENTURE” again…” and actual thought into Tiana’s next chapter in-canon. I hope it’s a trend and not just because of the controversy of having the first African-American Princess being a literal frog for almost her entire movie…
Looks like they cut her hair. It had been in a pony tail or bun. Will this change the appearance of Tiana the princess at the parks?
Love this – I’m sure they’ll keep some of the animatronics from Splash, but I hope they don’t, they all look so rundown. It’s time for a re-theme, and for all of the princesses to get a ride.
Including Klinger?
