TikTok user Donovan Sanford shared a video of a drone hovering in Frontierland at Disneyland park yesterday.
Sanford said they saw the drone at around 2:20 p.m. In the video, it’s hovering amidst a tree’s branches near the edge of the Rivers of America, across from The Golden Horseshoe. A security Cast Member stands in front of it, checking on it and making sure guests don’t get too close. A shorter clip at the end of the video shows the drone crashed into the bushes and two security Cast Members are looking at it.
Drones are prohibited in Disneyland Resort and other Disney Parks. If the drone was being used by Disney, there would have been a crew nearby. Whoever was controlling the drone is not visible in the video, and may not have even been inside the park.
This isn’t the only recent instance of a prohibited item being brought into Disneyland. A guest was recently caught with a sparkling firework taking photos in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Guests have also been breaking other Disneyland Resort rules by jumping onto parade floats and into the Grizzly Peak water.
