BREAKING: Dates Announced for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2023 at Magic Kingdom

As part of Disney’s Halfway to Halloween Celebration, Disney has announced prices, dates, and entertainment details for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Let’s take a look at the details for the upcoming spooky season at Walt Disney World Resort.

Get ready for a spooktacular celebration with plenty of tricks and treats when the series of parties kicks off August 11.

With spellbinding entertainment, favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best and more, celebrate the most haunting time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort. This limited-capacity, nighttime event starts at 7 p.m. and allows guests to experience shorter wait times on attractions, themed food and beverage and more. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting April 27, and tickets will be available to all guests starting May 2. The event dates are:

  • August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
  • September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29
  • October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
  • November: 1

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting April 27, and tickets will be available to all guests starting May 2.

Watch a Ghostly Promenade with “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade”

It’s good to be bad, and your favorite Disney villains are back to stride down Main Street, U.S.A., alongside Disney heroes, the iconic Haunted Mansion graveyard diggers and other favorite characters. You may even spot some ghoulish new faces this year.

Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is approximately 23 minutes long and is performed twice nightly, weather permitting. Performances are usually at 9:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m., but check the guide map or the My Disney Experience App will have the most up-to-date schedule.

Get the Party Startled With “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular”

Jack-o-lanterns aren’t the only ‘Jack’ at Walt Disney World this Halloween! The Pumpkin King, a.k.a. Jack Skellington, will once again host the must-see nighttime spectacular, “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.” Featuring projections, special effects and lighting paired with fireworks, music and iconic Disney characters, you won’t want to miss this!

See a Spellbinding Spectacle With the Sanderson Sisters    

The Sanderson Sisters, stars of the iconic “Hocus Pocus” films, will unite for an adventure and call on their comrades to summon the ultimate “Hocus Pocus” Party Potion during the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show at Cinderella Castle.

Also during the party, you may have the opportunity to experience some of your favorite attractions including Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the newly opened TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. TRON Lightcycle / Run will use a virtual queue* during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, allowing guests to enjoy all the festivities while they wait to enter the Grid. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Overview

Ticketed guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. ET and must present valid Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets to receive an event wristband. At 7:00 p.m., regular park guests are escorted out of the park, and only guests with wristbands are allowed to remain inside.

Guests may dress up as their favorite Disney characters to join in the season’s festivities. Specialty food and drinks will also be announced closer to the festival’s start.

Costume Guidelines

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the only times guests 14+ can wear costumes in the park. See the full guidelines below.

Ages 0-13

  • Costumes and some costume masks may be worn; masks must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.

Ages 14+ (Including Adults)

  • All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent.
  • Costumes may not contain any props or accessories that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects, or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
  • Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
  • Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (for example, full-length Princess dresses) 
  • Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist. 
  • Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts, and hats are acceptable.
  • Acceptable accessories include transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords, and tutus. Costume headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face. 
  • Costume masks of any kind may not be worn.
