*NEW* Soft Shell Crab Slider: Green Papaya Slaw and Mango Ketchup on Toasted Brioche – $7.50

The brioche does not hold up. Unfortunately, as fans of soft shell crab, this was very disappointing. It’s stringy, greasy, and fishy with a terrible aftertaste. We rate this a 1 out of 7.
*NEW* Cheddar and Chive Scone with Smoked Salmon Salad Topped with Crème Fraîche and Caviar – $7.50

It looks like a Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit, and tastes like it, if the biscuits were scones. We loved this. For a quick bite at a festival, this is really good. We rate this a 7 out of 7.
*NEW* Enchanted Rose: Milk Chocolate Rose with Raspberry and Rose Center – $6.50

The cookie base is excellent. Overall, this is pretty good. The rose flavor may put some people off, but we liked the way the flavors worked together. We rate this a 5 out of 7.
*NEW* Parish Brewing Co. SIPS Candy Paint Berliner Weisse, Broussard, LA (4.8% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From Parish Brewing Co.: “This tasty tribute to confectionary delights is fruited with lemon, lime, and cherries both sweet and tart. At 4.8% ABV, SIPS Candy Paint will whisk you away to the soda shops and candy stores of yesteryear. Imagine white cherry Icees, red Jolly Ranchers, and a sprinkle of Sonic happy hour.”
*NEW* von Trapp Brewing Bohemian Pilsner, Stowe, VT (5.4% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From von Trapp Brewing: “Here is our award-winning interpretation of the original Czech-style pale lager. Spicy and zesty aromatics from Saaz hops combine with notes of honey and hay from continental Pilsner malt to create a fulfilling and quenching bright lager with a dry and subtly bitter finish.”
*NEW* Crooked Can Brewing Company Fantasia Fusion IPA, Winter Garden, FL (5.4% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From correspondence with Crooked Can Brewing Company: “This IPA blends the bold hoppy notes of an American IPA, bursting with citrus and tropical fruit aromas, this brew takes you on a journey through an orchestra of hops. Each sip reveals layers of complexity, with a harmonious balance of bitterness and malt sweetness. Let the magic of Fantasia transport you to a realm where imagination knows no bounds. Cheers to a fusion of flavor and fantasy in every glass!”
*NEW* Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve Champagne, Reims, France ($70/bottle) – $12.00
According to Charles Heidsieck, this champagne has “an elegant nose : freshly baked brioche, roasted notes and ripe, sun-kissed fruits – mango, apricot, mirabelle plum- as well as dried fruits, pistachio and almond… The texture evokes the crunch of a layer of creamy nougat, with fleshy fruits like plums and cherries. The smoothness is provided by the selection of reserve wines. The finish reveals amber and vanilla notes as well as a touch of praline.”
*NEW* Piper-Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage Champagne, Reims, France ($70/bottle) – $12.00
According to Piper-Heidsieck, this champagne is “a rosé where fruit and color are in perfect harmony. Dominated by Pinot Noir and boasting an unusually high proportion of red wines, this blended rosé champagne boasts a deep scarlet color and decisive character.”
*NEW* Katherine Goldschmidt Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley, CA ($21/bottle) – $15.00
From Katherine Goldschmidt: “Black cherry, boysenberry and black fig aromas jump out of the glass. It is vibrant with nice perfume. The mouth is very smooth, rich silky tannins go on forever. Good tension in the mouth begs to have a second glass. The complexity is beyond its years.”
Martin Ray Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast, CA ($20/bottle) – $7.00
From Martin Ray: “Bright and viscous, with Granny Smith apple skins, Asian pear, and citrus zest. An undercurrent of under-ripe pineapple, fresh lemon, and white flowers with hints of chalk. Vibrant acidity throughout, with a lean, racy finish.”
