Pastoral Palate – EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

People standing in line at a small wooden stall with a red roof and wreath decoration, surrounded by trees, eagerly await their turn at the Festival of the Arts.

Pastoral Palate debuted at the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and returns for its fifth appearance in 2026. “Feast on hearty Bavarian fare and decadent Black Forest cake.” This year, the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts takes place January 16 – February 23, 2026.

Red Wine-Braised Short Rib with Parsnip Purée, Broccolini, Baby Tomatoes, and Balsamic Glaze – $8.79

The meat was extremely tender, we didn’t even need a knife. The parsnip puree added another great layer to this well-plated and hefty dish. Ours came with two pieces of the short rib, simple enough to split with a friend and/or loved one. Recommended. We rate this a 7 out of 7.

Black Forest Cake: Chocolate Mousse with Morello Cherries and Chantilly Cream – $4.99

Black Forest Cake: Chocolate Mousse with Morello Cherries and Chantilly Cream – $4.99

This cake features a chocolate feather similar to what we’ve seen in Peter Pan and Dumbo-themed desserts elsewhere at Walt Disney World. It’s also not obvious from the presentation, but there are cherries inside the cake as well. The chocolate isn’t too sweet, and better than the cake they serve at Biergarten. Everything is in balance. The rich dark chocolate in the mousse is offset with a little milk chocolate. The cherries aren’t overpowering, and the cream is pretty flavorless. Still, we recommend this. It’s a great dessert. We rate this a 6 out of 7.

3 Daughters Brewing Rosé Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL (7.0% ABV) – $6.00 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From 3 Daughters Brewing on Untappd: “Our Rosé Cider is light pink in color with hints of berry and citrus. It is refreshing yet crisp for the perfect Florida drink. Naturally Gluten Free.”

81Bay Brewing Rosé Blonde Ale, Tampa, FL (5.4% ABV) – $6.00 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

81Bay Brewing Co. on Untappd describes their Rosé Blonde Ale as being made with “strawberry and hibiscus.”

Frozen Rosé – $7.25

Frozen Rosé – $7.25

Frozen Rosé’s are becoming increasingly popular at these festivals, so here’s the obligatory offering this time around. It’s neither here nor there. We rate this a 4 out of 7.

*NEW* Hex Vom Dasenstein Pinot Noir, Baden, Germany ($20/bottle) – $7.00

From Marussia Beverages USA: “The dark ruby red wine combines a fine fruit bouquet with a warm full body.”
