Kali River Rapids closed November 1 for its annual refurbishment. The raft ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is set to reopen December 16 according to the Walt Disney World website. Of course, reopening dates can and do change.

At this afternoon’s Destination D23 “Musical Attractions of Walt Disney World” panel discussion, Imagineer John Dennis mentioned that the EPCOT expansion will be complete in 2023. That deadline coincides with the completion of the EPCOT theme song that is being composed by Pinar Toprak. The new theme song was previewed at the last D23 Expo.
