What Are Disney Extended Evening Theme Park Hours?

Disney Extended Evening Hours are a bonus for guests staying at Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts, Deluxe Villas (DVC), and a few select hotels like the Swan & Dolphin and Shades of Green. If you’re at a Value or Moderate Resort, this benefit isn’t included.

Think of it as the nighttime cousin to Early Theme Park Entry, except it lasts longer and lets you enjoy the parks with fewer crowds after they close to the public.

Disney Extended Evening Hours replaced evening Extra Magic Hours, which ended in 2020.

How Disney Extended Evening Hours are Different from “After Hours” Events

Extended Evening Hours are included with your qualifying hotel stay, no extra ticket needed. Disney’s After Hours events, on the other hand, are separately ticketed ($125–$175), run longer, and include snacks and drinks.

How Extended Evening Hours Compare to Early Theme Park Entry

Extended Evening Hours: Nighttime, longer, Deluxe/DVC/select hotels only, at specific parks on specific nights.
