Epcot Food & Wine 2018 Funnel Cake

The Funnel Cake kiosk in World Showcase is open year-round, but something special is added for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival takes place August 29 – November 23, 2019.

Mini Funnel Cake topped with Vanilla Ice Cream and Mixed-berry Sangria Compote, $8.50

They really mean the “mini” on the item listing. It was small, about half the size of the usual ones, topped with a slab of vanilla ice cream. We actually really liked the mixed berry sangria compote on this one… however, there’s no denying the funnel cake kiosk is really trying to relive the splendor of the Maple Bacon funnel cake of last year’s festival. Unlike that one, this one’s not worth the $8.50 price tag.

The Funnel Cake kiosk is located on the World Showcase Promenade between The American Adventure and the Japan pavilion. It is #26 on the map below.

Jason has been a lifelong fan of the Disney parks since his first visit at age 2. His biennial pilgrimages during his childhood accelerated into semi-annual visits by the year 2000, when he also Joined the Disney Vacation Club.
