Happy holidays from the Magic Kingdom! Whatever holiday you’re celebrating (Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc.) the Magic Kingdom has something for you: Halloween merchandise, Christmas decorations, and crowds. It’s a busy weekend here at the park, so let’s brave the crowds and see what’s new.
The Christmas tree on Main Street U.S.A. has been put up! You can see the top of it even before you enter the park.
The decorations and music playing down on Main Street just sets the whole holiday mood.
Over at the Tomorrowland Speedway, the track is being prepped for the holiday overlay. Guests of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be able to experience this new overlay, and you can see a bit of the props around the track. Big and small orbs, Christmas trees, and other elements have been placed around the track to add to the fun for the Christmas party. We can’t wait to see it lit up at night!
The Tomorrowland Stage has a very futuristic, yet retro, look to their decorations. The silver is my favorite.
Crowds are everywhere today.
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire has a holiday finale that you won’t want to miss. It’s so cute!
The empty planters in Tomorrowland Terrace have been filled with lush foliage now, and it looks nice and green.
Crowds after the parade are always crazy, especially on busy days. Sometimes it’s better just to find somewhere to hide until the crowds have dispersed a bit.
We’re fighting a losing battle with these crowds today.
The TRON Lightcycle Run track still hasn’t been connected at the top, but it’s very close. You can see the final piece of that track sitting on a truck near the launch. The framework for the building has also extended out a bit more towards the launch track.
While we’re looking at construction, the Liberty Square Market is making slow but steady progress. I’m looking forward to sitting there.
Outside the park, the new structure is taking shape.
The snacks this year are awfully tempting. These apples are some of my favorites.
It’s not such a quiet village today, Belle.
Gaston decorates with antlers, and it’s perfectly themed.
Elsa lit up the castle tonight in A Frozen Holiday Wish, and it’s beautiful. You can check out more photos and a full video here.
It’s pretty late, so that’s all for today. Stay tuned for more updates from WDWNT and we’ll see you next time!
