“Wondrous Journeys” is performing at Disneyland Park once again, now through April 14, 2024. We were there for the first performance on March 22, and while the Blue Fairy and Baymax didn’t fly across the night sky — likely due to winds in the area — guests were excited about the show’s return.

“Wondrous Journeys” debuted at Disneyland Park on January 27, 2023, as part of the Disney100 celebration. It ran its final performance on August 31, 2023. It was then rumored to return in 2024, which Disney confirmed in late 2023.

Once its 2024 run ends on April 14, it will be replaced by a short run of “Mickey’s Mix Magic” through April 25, followed by “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular,” which will run through August 4, leading into the Halloween season.

The nighttime spectacular pays homage to Walt Disney Animation Studios by turning Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street U.S.A., and the facade of “it’s a small world” into canvases for projections. Fireworks light the sky as guests are immersed in the worlds of some of their favorite animated characters.
