I visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Sunday to see what was new and exciting regarding all of the ongoing projects in the park, here’s what I found:

  1. This is probably a dumb question but I’m going to ask it anyway – is all of Streets of America now closed? Is there still access to the Singing in the Rain Umbrella, was it moved or just taken down. I loved taking pictures there.

  2. For anyone at wdw is reading this– these photos make it all the more obvious that a one day ticket to DHS needs to be $49 at best until Toy Story or Star Wars opens. I’m headed to WDW late October and WONT be going to DHS at a $91 per day rate ! Geez

    • Obviously, it’s probably not worth buying a “one day” ticket right now.
I’m sure very, very few people do that.
A visit as part of a “multi-day” ticket is the much more acceptable.
You’d assume people who visit this website are familiar enough with WDW to know that.

    • So, a stunt show and A playground or worth almost $50? All of the big E-ticket attractions are still open, if Mickey’s Toontown Fair was shut down, would you lobby for lower Magic Kingdom prices? Because that land has a playground AND a ride.

  3. As an infrequent visitor (from the UK) it’s so sad to see the park that was my favorite to be in such a huge transition. From an all day park including Fantasmic! this was one of my ‘must-do’s’, now HS is now a half-day park and even then I wonder if I’d still get to ride Toy Story with a FP.

I’m sure it’ll return to its former glory in time, but seeing so many walls is a bit of a heartbreaker!
