BREAKING: Massive Power Outage Shuts Down Most Epcot Attractions

Most attractions at Epcot are temporarily closed due to a power outage problem at the park.

There are no further details available at this time, but it appears that nearly every attraction in the park is closed.

UPDATE: Power was restored before 9pm last night, but some attractions did not reopen. Normal park operations did resume today, February 1st.

    • We were on the Haunted Mansion ride. We sat in car for 1/2 hr watching the same ghoul’s head pop up & down. Emergency lights came on and we could see all the mechanics in holes in the floor. Then a mechanic came and manually opened each car as riders were escorted down a sawdust path. People were snapping pics left & right. Never made the local news I guess because no one was hurt.

  1. I am outraged that Disney would charge so much money only to have something outside of their control cause an inconvenience to the guests!!! This is an absurd money grab!!! Walt would be rollin’ in his grave!! Disney Parks suck, and if you don’t agree with me, you are not a REAL Disney fan!!!!

    • Wasn’t funny the first times you posted it, still not, and unrelated. Go troll some other boards.

      • Halt! You are violation of message board code # 1955-1971-07. Impersonating a Comedy Judge. You have the right to remain butt hurt. Anything you say can and will be used to mercilessly mock you. Please return to your mother’s basement immediately and continue writing your Mulan/Elsa Fan Fiction.
