While initially only available to guests staying at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club and Boardwalk Resorts (and then expanded to Disny’s Wilderness Lodge last week), a few additional resort guests are now able to take advantage of Disney’s Minnie Van service due to popular demand.

Starting today, guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (Kidani Village and Jambo House) can now go to the front desk at the resort to activate the service for their use.

Minnie Vans is a paid point-to-point transportation service that is operated by Disney and summoned through the Lyft app. Please check out our review to see how it works and if Minnie Vans will be right for you.

I don’t know about you, but there are times when planning a Disney vacation can be overwhelming! There are so many options, where to stay, when to go, is this the best price. • Thank U for such a thorough well-written and useful review!

I especially appreciate the fine details such as the fact that one has to B a guest of the participating resorts and that a cast member there has to activate the MinnieVans option on the LyftApp. I thot I could use it to catch a “lift” (haha) from one of those resorts or to even perhaps visit one of them . . .

  • Thank you, finally a place with detailed information about this service. I’ve been dying to try it and I will next week when we stay at the AKL.
