Wolfgang Puck Express, a fast-casual dining location in Disney Springs, unexpectedly shut its doors last week and is closed permanently.
Wolfgang Puck Express was in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. It closed with the rest of Walt Disney World Resort in March, but reopened in mid-July. Since it closed again, its windows have been covered, and signs and menus have been taken down outside.
A statement issued to journalist Ashley Carter of Spectrum News 13 indicates that the location officially closed on October 1.
Wolfgang Puck Express was one of the restaurants included in the Weekday at Disney Springs discount offer. Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill in Disney Springs’ Town Center remains open.
I’m crushed! With no Dining Plan and a December trip coming up, this was one of the few restaurants I was still looking forward to paying out of pocket. Guess I’ll have to eat my Butternut Squash Bisque at the airport.
