Conner Purzycki’s 3/12/11 DLR Photo Report

I was at the Disneyland Resort yesterday. Surprisingly, a lot has changed since last weeks photo report. Photos include The Little Mermaid, Cars Land, and much more…

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug

Walked right into DCA to get a look at the Mermaid building

The Golden Dreams rotunda has been put behind tarps and scaffolding

Woah…

Scaffolding is down from the front of the building

Incredible. Looks magnificent

Railings are being painted throughout Paradise Park

It does look like something will be mounted in the arch

Anyway, moving on. Jessie and a green army man meeting by Toy Story

Mermaid from across the bay

Looking very lush behind those walls

Time for a spin on the Fun Wheel

Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta

Paradise Garden Grill finally seeing progress

Goofy’s Sky School

Closer look at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta

Red Concrete?

Some paint coming off the WOC projectors

Another look at Mermaid

Cars Land

The rest of Flo’s was put up

Casa Della Tires

Radiator Springs Racers show building

Pacific Wharf entrance

The Silly Symphony Swings deck got repainted

Track coming out of the show building

Going to be interesting how they are going to hide the back of this mountain.

A section of the Grizzly River Run lift hill backstage

Moving on, the work walls were moved around in Sunshine Plaza

Walked past Pixar Pals.

Not a bad show in my opinion

Pan-Pacific Turnstiles

The “N” wasn’t turning

Was walking to Gardenwalk for lunch and noticed this

The 15 minute Harbor lot was coned off and staffed by 3 CMs. All spaces were blocked off and you could only drop people off or pick up. No waiting for people.

Over in Disneyland, some walls remain on Main Street

Celebrate St. Patricks Day in Downtown Disney!!

Back in DCA, The Disney Theater is now the name of the Playhouse Disney building. Disney Junior opens on March 24th.

Cars Land from Blue Sky Cellar

Some picture from the Golden Zephyr

Look who came out last night…

Nice to see Murphy out and about

Thanks for reading

  1. Amazing pictures, Conner.
i can't wait for next weeks pictures, And what are those walls with the classic characters covering?

    • If you mean on ones in front of the DCA entrance. They are surrounding the construction of the Pan-Pacific turnstiles.
