Take a look at this picture. Notice a theme? Steven Miller posted this on the Disney Parks Blog today. What upcoming Vinylmation can you make out? Do any peak your interest?

  1. I see a bunch of Chipmunk Cheeked food themed vinyls like rice, milk, etc. What’s with the MOUTH on the guy in the green jacket at the bottom, center portion of the pic? UGLY!!! Notice the noses painted on the upcoming release vinyls, I thought Disney didn’t need noses anymore so they took them off Mickey??

Is this set name: Invasion of the Chipmunk Cheek Food People??

  2. Anyone know what some of these are based on? Like the yellow guy blowing on something and that brown and green guy at the front?

  3. J :
I think the guy ” blowing” on something is a hot sauce figure because it looks like theres an accessory for to bottle top. It looks like he just ate something hot

    Yellow Hot Sauce??

  4. Looks like Kitchen Kabaret is going to be a full set since there are 4 pieces there from it.

I’m interested in what looks like a snowcone and some sort of grey bottle that are on the old mold. I guess the old mold isn’t dead after urban 7.

Ooo, the grey one does look like the OLD mold. Wonder what it could be? Looks like something along the line of the U7 Milk that came with the Mickey Ears, but with fruit maybe. That would be nice for a last hurrah!

The snowcone looking one looks like New mold to me, but it’s hard for me to see if those are buttons on the belly. There doesn’t seem to be a line across the chest though. With the Glass 1/2 full hand over the snowcone face, it’s hard to tell if there is a nose. I would have to call it a new mold.

Because Ham does have a strange mouth in the attraction, however I would have prefered his partner Eggz to be in vinyl form.

    • I guess I have never seen the Kitchen Kabarat show, so I didn’t recognize the the Ham character. I thought it might be an Urban type character. Based on the Ham vinyl, I am going to have to look up the Kabaret on my next trip…..oh and Eggz character too.

Sorry if you already know this, reading you comment seems like that your unaware of it being an “extinct” attraction however it did run from 1982 till 1994. It was then replaced by a similar attraction called Food Rocks, which was said to have a better story but lacked the detail seen previously in animatronics. Food rocks then closed in 2003 to make way for Soarin’.
However there are several youtube videos of both previous shows as well as a couple of photos and even the entire script has been put up.

  7. There is an unidentified Vinylmation underneath Kitchen Kabernet Ham in the picture above. It looks like it may be an Orange Juice carton. In the new Jumbo Urban 7 Vinylmation pin set, there is an Orange Juice carton similar to the Chocolate Milk carton Vinylmation/ Mickey Ears combo piece. Wonder if this is from another Mickey Ears combo for the Orange Juice?
