So, I was visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park this past Sunday and took a ride on Kilimanjaro Safari for the first time since the original finale scene was ripped out. Not only was I surprised to see most work completed on the new Zebra habitat, but the safari driver was sharing the new backstory which explains why the zebras are there and why construction is going on at the moment:
So, what do you think of the new backstory?
This is a very good change in the story. Although keeping along with the animal reserve idea, wouldn't it seem logical that the farmers would have their land off the reserve instead of on it?
I like the optimistic feeling; can't wait for the new residents to move in!
I prefer the old one, but this is also a good, strong lesson.
I enjoyed the safari. I went on it four times when I was there. Though I hadn't heard the old backstory I liked the new one.
