Excellent show again… that display down at D-Street did look a bit of fun from your pictures…. and thankfully i was able to order a alien pack from .com which was a great thing for someone not near the parks
Thank you. Glad you were able to get one.
Hey guys, I will give myself away and say I am the designer of the new window display at DStreet. Thank you so much for all the positive feedback. As for the so-so feedback, I will just say I am a vinyl fan myself and the message of the window is simply celebrating vinylmation in a fun and unique way. None of the valuable and rare vinyl that was obtained for the window was damaged in any way. I was thinking that putting these “special” vinyl on the conveyor belt would be a great way of honoring them.
I love it. Your work is sure to put a smile on the faces of guests passing by D-Street Orlando. The Lotso was a perfect touch. I want to make it perfectly clear I am not upset by the use of any figure in the display. I think I said it most clearly on the podcast… the display, intentional or not, should give us collectors a chance to sit back and think about what and why we collect and I hope for most of us it is because we love the Disney collectible, not for the aftermarket.
I can’t agree more, aftermarket value tends to potentially ruin collectibles. Once there is a possibilty of value, the eBay sharks jump on it, and ruin it for true collectors. I am glad you guys enjoyed the window and ecstatic you got the Lotso reference! Keep checking the window every now and then for fun changes :)
I’m glad the cards finally arrived. :)
The teddy bear is Duffy, because I know how much he loves Duffy
