Dug
Up (2009)

It would be even sweeter if they packaged this talking dog with a junior squirrel.

King Fergus
Brave (2012)

Love the peg leg!

Nemo
Finding Nemo (2003)

Perfect use of the entire canvas and clear parts.

Mr. Incredible
The Incredibles (2004)

Simple yet perfect. Nice use of the ears just for color. His face is positioned perfectly.

Filmore
Cars (2006)

Lighting and Matter were on the Mickey platform in a 2-pack… the rest of the gang, including Filmore made it onto the Vinylmation Monorails. It looks like they will not hesitate giving us more Cars in the Pixar 3″ series.

Remy
Ratatouille (2007)

Captain B. McCrea
Wall-E (2008)

I was really excited to see this one. He fits perfectly onto the canvas. The captain hat is a nice touch. And drawing Auto into the left ear!!!! Brilliant.

Flick
A Bugs Life (1998)

Chuckles
Toy Story 3 (2010)

Mike
Monsters Inc. (2001)

Jackolope
Boundin’ Short (2004)

Mystery Chaser

Little Green Men
Toy Story (1995)
LE 1000
$44.95
December 14th 2012

Simple amazing… and a TON cheaper than collecting three Park 2 LGM.

Tuck and Roll
A Bug’s Life (1998)
LE 1000
$26.95
January 4th, 2013

Hungarian twin pill bugs that act as cannonballs in P.T. Flea’s circus troupe.

9″ Crush and 3″ Squirt
Finding Nemo (2003)
LE 1250
$64.95
January 18th, 2013

These two turtles fit well onto the canvas. The ears have a great color to them. Each turtle’s signature look is captured well.

Heimlich (Combo Topper)
A Bug’s Life (1998)

Great use of the new platform.

  1. I have been collecting for a few years now and have never bought a case or even thought about it… until this series. Super excited for the release and will certainly get a case if they are offered online! Great designs so far.

  2. We, who don’t live within 1000 miles of D-Streets, are thinking, “YES, put them in Disney Stores”, however, reality says they will most likely be only at D-Street and/or the Parks. :-(

  3. They always say “at d-streets” for every Design Group release. There have been plenty of Design Group stuff that has been released in Disney Stores like Alice, Snow White, Animation 1+2, Robots 2, etc. With Classics and Haunted Mansion being exclusive to the parks, I’d be absolutely shocked if these didn’t come to Disney Stores.

    • i hope you are right. I really would love to pick up a tray, or even get 7 or 8 blind boxes. I REALLY want to have this full set. and if its anything like haunted mansion, you will here about it non stop, and then its after it’s release you wont hear anything.

    • AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You don’t like Nemo! Ahhhhhh!!!!!!! I LOVE Nemo. I’m pretty sure this will end up on Disney Stores because it just has that DS look to it. Squirt is soooooooooo freaking CUTE!!!!!!!!

  4. I have friend who works in a Disney Store and they have received this series so it will be in stores. I was also told the whole series. The ones that are not above are:
    1) Chuckles (Toy Story 3)
    2) Flik (A Bugs Life)
    3) Jakalope (Boundin…..a short that played before the incredibles…..and I’ve been told it has a little fuzzy tail)
    4) Mike (Monsters Inc….but he is wearing oven mitts and snorkeling goggles or goggle i guess in his case, and other household protective gear just like in the scene when him and Sulley first bring Boo back to their apartment and don’t want to come in contact with her.)

  5. We have seen the all now except for the chaser, i was thinking which could have a variant. The only that I can think of would be Chuckles maybe with a smiley face. Anyone else have any ideas?

    • well, as someonw said above- i’m thinking mr.Incredibles in the black and blue suit would be SUPER awesome!

  6. Was VERY happy to get Crush and Squirt at my local Disney Store. They had two left and told me that they had only gotten 3 of them. :)
