  2. Do these sell out or is there an advantage to buying them this far in advance? Visiting disney for the first time in October and clueless!

    • There’s no advantage except having a ticket before they sell out. Some popular dates will sell out (like 10/31) but not all dates. If you are able, I’d buy the tickets as soon as you know your travel dates so you don’t risk it being sold out.

      • Also since this is your first trip and you may not know, you can enter the park at 4pm for the Halloween party. The party actually starts at 7pm. We always skip buying regular park tickets for our party date so we can sleep in and get to the park at 4pm. That way we save money, we are well rested, and can stay out late without being exhausted.

    • The park closes to guests with regular tickets at 7pm, the official start of the party. From 4pm-7pm, either a party ticket or a regular ticket will get you in. At exactly 7pm, guests with regular tickets are expected to start leaving the park. Then cast members check for party wristbands regularly for the first hour or so, to make sure that only party guests are still in the park.
