Starting August 2nd, 2016, guests will no longer find turkey legs at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The seasonally operating Toluca Legs Turkey Co. on Sunset Boulevard will be renamed Sunshine Day Cafe and offer a new menu (but will still rarely be open). Meanwhile, the removal of the turkey legs will free up some room at Fairfax Fare to add baked potatoes. Baked potato options will include a one-pound baked potato with tri-tip beef, brown gravy, and white cheddar, as well as the Loaded Fairfax Potato including sour cream, cheddar, and bacon.
Turkey legs were removed from Animal Kingdom as well, but Yak & Yeti’s counter service drink window now sells their own version of the treat. Epcot and Magic Kingdom do currently still offer turkey legs.
Absolutely ridiculous.

This is a travesty!
The worst !
Sounds good to me!
Sounds like Disney Theme Park Division of the last decade. Who cares about the guest’s experience or preference? Turkey Legs cost money. Potatoes cheaper. End of story.
Goodbye Disney…. High prices and a bunch of idiots operating your parks. I bought a hamburger and got tortilla chips with it. Are you kidding me? No salsa, queso, or guacamole? What idiot would ever think this is a good decision and why are you paying this idiot?
At Pecos Bills I assume? The salsa, guac and sour cream are all on the toppings bar.
Wow. Just wow. I hope this is just seasonal.
We eat potatoes enough at home cutting corners saving for Disney trips would rather have something I can’t fix at homes
Gosh, this is the turkey-loving-est comment board I ever did see! Who knew people could feel such a sense of deep moral outrage about the availability of over-the-counter turkey legs, especially when they’re still on the menu at two out of four parks? Can’t wait to see what’s killing our childhoods tomorrow!
Nah, it’s just that Disney World now a days makes a trip to McDonalds now look generous and entertaining. Some of us though fans of the characters, remember better days is all. (Some others too young, or old and senile to remember them)
I’m game for loaded potatoes! Sounds good, cuz when we got some ‘Legs from Hollywood they were dry as a sheet of cardboard. Pretty depressing really.
I’d love it if you whiners & complainers actually really did stop going to Disney World because of something as stupid as “access to Turkey legs”. It would make things better for us sane people who would enjoy your absence.
But you won’t stop going……so shut up.
Jeff, a comment like that and you sound like the least sane one here! Every less person at overcrowded Disney would make it better. Many of us don’t go a tenth as frequently because it’s not half of what it used to be.
