Polynesian Village Resort Now Offering Paid “Pool Cabana” Rentals

Guests staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort can now reserve the Oasis Pool patio shade structures (kind of like a cabana) for a half or full day starting November 13th.

They will be able to be reserved for $25 for a half day or $40 for a full day. Reservations can be made by calling the reservations center, DVC member services, or through a la carte at the resort concierge.

The rental simply includes the rental of the space with no additional amenities included. The shade structures were previously open for all guest use on a first come, first serve basis.

  1. I don’t think Disney’s all that psyched to make a whopping $120 per day on these Cabanas. That’s chumpchange for them.
It’s more about the tiny supply of 3 available and allowing those who are willing to reserve & pay a small amount to secure them, instead of camping out or laying their stuff all over them at 6am everyday like they did during my stay in September.

  2. This looks like an awesome option. You don’t have to rent it if you don’t want but I’m definitely interested.

  3. I just called to book one of these cabanas for my stay in August 2017 Prices have increased to $42 for a half day and $63 for a full day. Just wanted to update everyone.

  4. When you call to order do you pick which one, do they tell you which one? How do you know which one is is yours when you rent it?

    • I was told there will be a sign with our name on it. There are only three so it shouldn’t be hard to determine. I am guessing that larger parties will be put under the larger cabana. we only have 4 people. So I am guessing we will be under one of the smaller ones.

  5. I called last week to book this for my august vacation my charge was $63 for a full day!

  6. Booked today and prices for 2018 have increased. Full day = $74.55 and half day = 53.25. IMO, still worth it for my family.
