After being closed for a few weeks, the Speedway gas station near Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopened recently.
The station had never closed after being purchased by Speedway. It was formerly a Hess station.
Brand new pumps were installed with Speedway Secure systems in place. “Touch to pay” with credit cards and Apple Pay is coming soon.
Much of the signage was redone.
The Coke Freestyle machine is gone, so now there are these fountains featuring “flavor magic”. There’s also a slushy machine now.

They also serve Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee products.
Less Speedway, more Wawa.
I agree! Speedway has nothing oon Wawa! Fresh coffee, great FRESH made to order hot and cold foods…and fresh healthy snacks! Not to mention Wawa’ s own drinks! Their raspberry iced tea is the best I’ve tasted!
Speedway has the best fountain soda selection of any gas station chain! We’ve got a real good one at the entrance to Florida Keys Overseas Highway. I’m sure Disney’s will be even better.
I am an installer with the company who did the signage there. We will be doing even more work there soon.
Hopefully they cleaned it up and replaced the workers. IMO it had become a dump and the employees all had on their imaginary “I’d rather be working anywhere but here” buttons. After Speedway took over, it became the worst gas plaza in WDW. Maybe I’ll try it again when I need fuel after leaving DHS.
