PHOTOS: Tokyo Disney Resort Receives a Magical Snowfall, Offering Stunning Pictures

It’s not everyday you get to see a Disney park covered in snow! On Monday, up to 8 inches fell across the Tokyo region, blanketing the city and the Tokyo Disney Resort. Beautiful pictures of the parks covered in snow popped up all over social media. It’s the heaviest snowfall in Tokyo in four years, and coincidentally comes just after the kickoff of Tokyo Disneyland’s “Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy” event on January 11. It seems as though cast members made some snow figures and not-so-hidden Mickeys in the snow, while the monorail had a plow-type device on the front to clear the track.
