While initially only available to guests staying at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club and Boardwalk Resorts, Minnie Vans have since rolled out to the following resorts due to popular demand:
- Wilderness Lodge
- Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
- Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
- Polynesian Village, Contemporary
- Old Key West
- Saratoga Springs
- Caribbean Beach
- Disney’s Pop Century
Starting today, guests at Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts (both French Quarter and Riverside), can go to the front desk at the resort to activate the point-to-point transportation service for their use.
Please note that on February 12th, 2018, Walt Disney World raised the price per standard ride in a Minnie Van vehicle from $20 to $25.
As well, the Minnie Van airport transportation service that launched a few weeks ago is still available at select concierge resorts at the same initial price point.
Minnie Vans is a paid transportation service that is operated by Disney and summoned through the Lyft app. Please check out our review to see how it works and if Minnie Vans will be right for you.
Just need them to expand this service to offer something akin to the former Express Transportation option – I’d pay $25 for a backstage skip-security park-hop.
I STRONGLY agree, need express transport back! Just returned from a 12 day trip, used minnie vans multiple times, but cannot accommodate our family of 6 in one due to kids car seats. PLUS cannot transport you off property, which I found out the hard way when I needed to go to a quick care after my daughter fell and needed stitches at HS.
Just called Disney. Was told there is no information on Port Orleans being on the Minnie Van list. Not sure who to believe at this point..iur res is for this weekend, so I guess we’ll find out
