We told you about the new hotel being built in Disneyland Resort in 2021 some time ago, but over the weekend, the Disneyland Resort has been notifying surrounding neighbors of the start of construction on the new parking structure, as well as the new hotel. Upon inspection of the mailer Disney sent out, they informed residents to go to a website to view construction updates. On that site, a new piece of concept art of the outside of the new hotel, as well as the redesigned Disneyland Monorail station, was pictured.
This is the first new Disneyland hotel opening in nearly two decades! This hotel is slated to transform the district of Downtown Disney and also open a new gateway to Disneyland Resort. This new hotel will have 700 rooms, dining and entertainment. It will be embracing their iconic Monorail system that Disney parks has long had, giving it a platform for direct transportation into Disneyland park. The rooms and gardens will provide fantastic views of of Downtown Disney District and the upstairs dining will give guests a great view of the fireworks! You can also expect to see shops and restaurants on the ground level of the hotel. And one of the most magnificent parts is that this hotel links all four of Disneyland Resort’s hotels by gardens and a landscaped walkway.
