If you are planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort in the following weeks, be prepared for construction walls and crowds…

Wall-come

From the sixth floor of the parking structure, it’s clear that Disney is working hard on Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The peaks of Batuu taking shape.

Items are being loaded into the Battle Escape attraction show building every day.

In the distance, construction for past Paradise Pier, soon to be PIXAR Pier, can be seen.

If you park in the Mickey and Friend’s parking structure early enough, most of the floors are empty.

Construction seems to be going on everywhere and even the lockers are affected.

Even the landscaping around the trams is getting worked on.

On The Right Track

Welcome to Disneyland!

As you enter through the tunnels, you’re immediately faced with the sights and sounds of construction.

The trolley tracks on Main Street are being completely ripped up for the first time in the park’s 63 year history.

Disneyland often includes historical retrospectives on their work walls, something other parks often lack.

There are directional signs posted all throughout the walls for guests to follow.

FOUND THE CASTLE!

Snack Attack

The Jolly Holiday has recently added new additions, including a salted caramel macaron and a bananas foster cheesecake!

As a salted caramel lover myself, I had to try this treat! Surprisingly, the macaron tasted more like chocolate rather than caramel, but the caramel flavor is definitely noticeable and for only $5.49 I think this snack is worth trying!
