Disney’s Animal Kingdom will begin a refresh of all of the cast member costumes throughout the park beginning on its 20th anniversary, April 22nd, 2018. The areas changing costumes on that date include:
- Outdoor Vending
- Main Entrance/Oasis
- Discovery Island
- Rafiki’s Planet Watch
- Wildlife Express Train
- Gorilla Falls Trails
- Maharajah Jungle Trek Trails
Costumes for The Oasis and Discovery Island will actually feature a “mix and match” system and selectable elements, where cast members will actually have some level of choice in their appearance.
All other costumes in the park will be updated in the weeks following this.
