D23 is celebrating Animal Kingdom’s 20th anniversary in big way and they’re inviting you to join them! D23 Gold and Gold Family Members can purchase a “20th Anniversary FAN Celebration Pass,” giving you the opportunity to experience some fan-favorite activities throughout the day, such as a reserved viewing for the big dedication of the 20th anniversary, Fastpasses, a 20th Anniversary Commemorative D23 digital picture, and more!
Check in will be at the Oasis near the entrance of Rainforest Cafe from 8:45AM to 9:45AM in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Please remember this is for D23 Gold and Gold Family Members and you will be required to show Photo I.D. and D23 Membership Card.
Gold Members and Gold Family Members will have access to purchase the “20th Anniversary Fan Celebration Pass,” which fully includes “reserved viewing for the 20th anniversary moment at the Tree of Life, 20th Anniversary Commemorative D23 digital picture, three Fastpasses at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (excluding Pandora – The World of Avatar), reserved viewing of the Rivers of Light performance, D23-exclusive gift specially created for the event, in partnership with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
But, that’s not all. A limited number of fans will be able to purchase a “VIP 20th Anniversary Fan Celebration Pass,” that includes above listed activities in addition to these:
- VIP Viewing for a Festival of the Lion King performance
- Private Mix and Mingle reception in DinoLand U.S.A.
- Behind-the-Scenes Dinner inside the Festival of the Lion King theater
- Additional D23-exclusive commemorative keepsake
- And during this commemorative day, Disney’s Animal Kingdom special guests will stop by to help us celebrate.
A few ground rules include: D23 Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and one guest for either pass, all attendees must be 3 years or older to attend the event, alcohol WILL be served during this experience and photo I.D. will be required to partake in any drinking festivities, this event does NOT include admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and if planning to use a Walt Disney World Annual Passport to attend, each guest should check blockout dates to verify that the pass is valid for admission on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
