LEGO has released a new line of six sets for the upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Infinity War.
Be aware that some may consider the contents of these sets to contain spoilers for the film, so we recommend not looking any further if you wish to remain 100% spoiler free.
The first set is the Outrider Dropship Attack, which includes 124 pieces and four minifigures: Captain America, Black Widow, and two Outriders. The dropship features a cockpit with foldout doors.
Next up is the Thanos: Ultimate Battle set, which includes three minifigures: Iron Man, Star-Lord and Gamora, plus a Thanos big figure. The Guardians’ ship opens up, revealing a cockpit for stowing away the included space scooter. Thanos’ left hand is interchangeable with an Infinity Gauntlet piece that is also included.
The third set is Thor’s Weapon Quest, complete with minifigures of Thor, Rocket, and Groot. The escape pod features attached weapons, and a detachable hatch. The plane cockpit also opens up, allowing for the placement of the minifigures. What’s really neat about this one is that the escape pod in this set can attach to the ship that is included in the Thanos: Ultimate Battle set.
The Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack set includes five minifigures: Vision, Shuri, Black Panther, Corvus Glaive and an Outrider. The “Wakandan wall” can open and close shut with the use of the lever. There are also two mounted turrets on the very top of the wall.
The Hulkbuster Smash-Up set all but confirms the return of the Hulkbuster Mech Suit in Infinity War. In addition to the Hulkbuster figure, the set includes four minifigures: Bruce Banner, Falcon, Proxima Midnight and an Outrider. The Hulkbuster figure has an accessible cockpit and posable joints. The turret has a seat for one minifigure and can shoot balls.
Finally, there is the Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown set, which is made up of over 1000 pieces. Included are four minifigures: Iron Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Strange and Ebony Maw, plus a Cull Obsidian big figure. The set features a three-level New York City building including the Sanctum Sanctorum floor, pizzeria, and Peter Parker’s apartment. Additionally, there are two fire escapes, a rooftop water tower, and a detachable street corner set piece.
While the movie is still about two months away, fans can get their hands on these LEGO sets now by shopping online or in store.
