Hollywood Studios debuted a new cupcake this weekend. It’s a pink lemonade cupcake with a white chocolate clock promoting Disney’s upcoming live-action film ‘A Wrinkle In Time’. The cupcake costs $5.99+tax and qualifies as a snack on the Disney Dining Plan.
The cupcake is bright pink, as is expected from a pink lemonade cupcake.
Nothing too special on a cross-section; it’s a full cupcake without filling. There was a strong lemon flavor across the pastry, a little too sugary at times, but enjoyable nonetheless. The lemon buttercream icing worked in harmony with the pink lemonade flavor making it a great springtime dessert and a nice diversion from the usual park cupcakes which are typically chocolate or vanilla. The clock is made of white chocolate.
The Mickey head sprinkles on top seemed very out of place in promoting a live action movie. A Wrinkle In Time premieres on March 9th.
