Earlier this week, we made our way over to Disney Springs for a nice evening stroll and to check up on updates around the Springs. Let’s take a look at what’s going on at Disney Springs:
The third parking garage across Buena Vista Drive is coming along and is scheduled for completion sometime in 2019.
Taking the place of the old Harley-Davidson store at Disney Springs West Side is a new Disney boutique store called DisneyStyle. This is scheduled to open later this spring.
The old orange color that once covered the Harley-Davidson store is now being primed for a new color scheme.
Over on the far side of the West Side, the NBA Experience continues to take shape as the framing takes to the sky. NBA Experience opens Summer 2019.
The new LEGO Tron Light Cycle set is now available to purchase at the Disney Springs LEGO Store but as of this writing, it is currently sold out.
A majority of the World of Disney store is currently closed off for refurbishment. If you look closely, you can see that the store has been stripped down to the bare steel.
Twenty Eight & Main at the Co-Op has completely removed all of the Twenty Eight & Main shirts, with the exception of this one set of shirts on a rack.
LittleMissMatched closed back on December 31st, 2017, but the location continues to sit empty and dark with no announced replacement yet.
Finally, the old Pleasure Island bridge continues to be refurbished, but only a bit of the scrims left up.
What do you think of the changes coming to Disney Springs?
Hi Jose,
When is the World of Disney completion date? It’s to bad nothing has been put in to replace Little miss Matched. Hate to see empty stores like that, not good.
Thanks
