REVIEW: I Heart Artichokes Festival Marketplace at the 2018 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

This booth is another holdover from 2017, with two returning items, and one new item (that replaced one of our favorite items from last year).

Grilled & Chilled Artichoke Hearts with Romesco – $6.50

REVIEW: Nearly Every Food Item (and Some Drinks) from the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival 2017; Better Than Any Epcot Event

From last year:

I’ve never really cared for artichoke hearts, but this was a great dish as well. If you enjoy such things, be sure to order this one.

Fried Artichoke Carbonara – $6.00

From last year’s review:

The garlic and smoked bacon make these artichokes the best I’ve ever had. Enjoyable for sure, it is also a nice portion size.

Bourbon Chocolate Whoopie Pie – $4.50

The new item for this year, this replaced the creamy artichoke and dark chocolate cake pop from last year. Though that cake pop was one of our favorites, the whoopie pie was really good as well. We thought the bourbon flavor could be a bit more pronounced.

Early in 2007, Jason began his involvement with the planning for what became Celebration 25, the unofficial fan gathering to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Epcot®. Soon thereafter, Jason met Tom Corless at a pin trading meet in New Jersey, and became part of the WDW News Today podcast starting with Episode 17.
