UPDATE: Several hours after we posted this article, the Disney Parks Blog posted the same news with photographs of the new dishes. We’ve added the photos below, but will still have reviews of the food in the near future.
Disney California Adventure has long been known for its corny puns and the new lunch/dinner menu at Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land has finally joined in the fun.
Gone are the simply named menu items like the “Spit-Fired Rotisserie 1/4 Chicken”, “Roast Beef & Cheddar” and “BBQ Pork Ribs”. Instead, the totally new menu touts items like the “Ka-Cheeseburger”, “Cobb de Ville Salad”, and “Chicken Fenders”.
Here’s a full list of the new offerings:
Ka-Cheeseburger ($11.49) – 1/3 lb Angus Beef Patty, Cheddar Cheese, 1000 Island, and Caramelized Onions on a Sesame Seed Bun with Steak Fries
Ramone’s Low and Slow Club ($11.49) – Turkey Breast, crispy Bacon, Avocado-Bacon Mayo, Lettuce, and Tomato on Toasted White Bread with Steak Fries
Fin-tastic Tuna Sandwich ($10.99) – Albacore Tuna Salad, Lettuce and Tomato on Toasted Wheat Bread with Steak Fries $10.99
Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken ($16.99) – with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Seasonal Vegetables
Cobb de Ville Salad ($10.99) – Mixed Lettuce, Turkey Breast, crispy Bacon, Blue Cheese, Hard-boiled Egg, Corn, and Tomatoes with House-made Ranch Dressing
Fillmore’s Pot Pie ($10.99) – creamy Sweet Corn and Potato with Chiles, Cheddar Cheese, flaky Pie Crust and fresh Fruit
Micro Burger ($7.49) – Mini All-Beef Hamburger with fresh Fruit, Baby Carrots and choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani® Water
Taillight Slider ($7.49) – Sliced Turkey Breast Slider with fresh Fruit, Baby Carrots and choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani® Water
Chicken Fenders ($7.49) – crispy Chicken Strips with fresh Fruit, Baby Carrots and choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani® Water
Mack’s Mac & Cheese ($7.49) – with fresh Fruit, Baby Carrots and choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani® Water
Seasonal Strawberry Pie ($5.39) – filled with Pastry Cream and fresh Strawberries, coated with Strawberry Glaze, and garnished with Caramelized Puffed Rice
If you were a big fan of the Brioche French Toast at breakfast, don’t fret. The breakfast menu remains the same!
