Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room which opened on June 23, 1963 at Disneyland Park is celebrating its 55th Anniversary. To help celebrate 55 years of welcoming guests to the enchanted hideaway, Disney is offering some special merchandise and food options.
A Funko Pop! Theme Park Exclusive set will be released on June 23 featuring the “long lost” Barker Bird (located at the entrance in the attraction’s early days) and the Hawaiian fire goddess Pele. It will be available at select locations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, including the Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom.
Sunshine Tree Terrace at the Magic Kingdom will have a special food offering on June 23rd and 24th. The dessert is a fluffy doughnut topped with strawberry sauce, orange soft serve and fruity cereal.
