Get ready to “do this again…” and again, and again, as Paint the Night and Pixar Play Parade’s runs have been extended past their scheduled September 3rd end date, according to Disney Parks Blog.
The parades were expected to end with the conclusion of Pixar Fest at the resort. Both parades received new additions to coincide with the festival.
Paint the Night, currently running at Disney California Adventure, added a new float themed to “The Incredibles,” while Pixar Play Parade, currently running at Disneyland, added floats featuring characters from “Up” and “Inside Out.”
As of the writing of this piece, there was no word on a new closing date for the parades.

Then let Disneyland add Anna and Elsa onto the princess unit and/or make a smaller unit based upon Frozen to fit though the trolley lines, since Frozen’s still a household name in the Walt Disney company
Its great that these got extended but I would like a new Parade.
Any word on WDW getting a night time parade? Sorely missed over on the other coast, really need one too.
The weather is always pleasant in Southern California. I would expect Paint the Night to last up to Thanksgiving. Then resume in January when the new Pixar attractions opens up.
