The Hong Kong Disneyland Halloween celebration is coming back to the resort. From September 13th to October 31st, 2018, it is Disney Halloween Time. For the first time, Jack Skellington invites guests to Halloween Town in a walkthrough experience. Find out below what you can expect of this year’s event!
Journey to Halloween Town
Frightful antics will ensue this Halloween, when Jack Skellington and his friends create mayhem and turn the park upside down! The Pavilion will be transformed with spooky magic, allowing Guests to visit Halloween Town, featuring iconic music and scenes from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
It has been 25 years since the iconic movie was released and now protagonist Jack invites you to Halloween Town. In this new walkthrough experience, your favorite scenes from the movie are displayed. Venture into Dr. Finklestein’s Lab, where Jack Skellington’s friend Sally desperately needs your help. You just might see Jack himself while exploring. Make sure you stay alert, as the evil Oogie Boogie will be out to get you and your friends!
Villains Night Out! 3.0
In this special party, held for the third time, Disney Villains come out to haunt you with their ‘evil’ moves. You’re invited to the most wicked party ever, as the vilest Disney Villains once again take over the park.
Using her dark powers, Maleficent leads the infamous Disney Villains which include the malevolent Ursula, the Evil Queen and Jafar. Other Villains who will grace the party include Jack Skellington, Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts and Cruella de Vil. Be part of the merry mayhem as the procession snakes along Main Street, U.S.A. Do not miss the big finale as Maleficent ends the show with a fiery high note.
Meet Disney Characters
Mickey, Minnie, and all their friends are prepared for a spooky party. You can meet them in special costumes developed for the Hong Kong Disney Halloween Time season. Also, Duffy and his group of friends will be there in special outfits, including his new friend Cookie that will show her costume for the first time ever!
Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party
After taking pictures, the Disney characters will hop on three giant pumpkin floats and go down Main Street, U.S.A. to celebrate the season in a festive way including music, dance, and all the other elements you are used to in a Disney parade.
Halloween Time with Winnie the Pooh and Friends
Meet, greet and pose with Winnie the Pooh and other Disney friends, dressed in Halloween costumes. After dark, conjure the courage for a photo alongside Disney’s most beloved baddies for some wicked fun.
There will also be tons of Halloween-inspired settings that are perfect for pics. So, put on a Halloween costume and join the fun! You can also create your own Trick-or-Treat Bag or masks and get a spooky makeover by our Face Painting Artists, then go Trick-or-Treating at the special booths.
Food and Merchandise
What is a party without special food and merchandise? Sink your fangs into the special Halloween desserts. Try the Jack’s Night, Wizard Pumpkin Cup, or the Halloween Mickey Ring. Or drop into the Main Street Corner Cafe to enjoy one of the many character-themed Halloween Set Menus. Don’t forget to join the “DIY Jack Cookie Class” to have fun with your kids at the Royal Banquet Hall and enjoy an amazing dinner feast afterwards!
For something heartier, book a table at one of the hotel restaurants to indulge in delightful Halloween themed dishes and desserts. Try out the new Jack’s Shrimp Dumpling and Mummy Vegetable Bun at the Crystal Lotus in the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. The “Chef Mickey Family in Halloween” Dinner Buffet in Disney’s Hollywood Hotel is sure to give you and your children a fun and immersive dining experience!
