J.J. Abrams Teases The First Image From “Star Wars: Episode IX”

J.J. Abrams took to Twitter to reveal the first set photo from “Star Wars: Episode IX”. This was also a way for Abrams to announce that production has officially begun for the film, and to also pay homage to the late Carrie Fisher. The image is not the best, but it appears to show Chewie, Finn and maybe Rey (???) in the cockpit of The Millennium Falcon.

From JJ Abrams:

“Star Wars: Episode IX” opens December 20, 2019.
