As roadway changes on Buena Vista Drive continue to support the upcoming third Disney Springs parking garage, traffic patterns will be adjusted. Beginning Wednesday, September 5th, the left turn lane into Lime Garage from eastbound Buena Vista Drive will close permanently.
To access the Lime or Orange Garages from Team Disney, a new legal U-turn will be added to the traffic signal in front of the Casting building. After making the U-turn, Disney Springs visitors will turn right into either parking structure. The new third parking garage (rumored to be called Lemon) will offer direct access from eastbound Buena Vista Drive when it opens next year.
And everyone knows U-turns are easier to execute and safer. NOT!

This is not a major roadway change! It’s just a way to make a U-Turn.
Really, really dumb idea. It’s as if they designed entrances into the parking garage so you are not welcomed. Why would they make it even harder to park?
