The International Gateway at Epcot is shaping-up to be one of the many stops along the Disney Skyliner route. Taking notes from the installation at Caribbean Beach, the station and route will be extremely close to guest pathways. In the past week the major structure for the station has been installed, take a look.
Approaching International Gateway you can see walls up at the Friendship boat dock and the actual station on the left. The walls on the right will house the first pillar for the Skyliner outside of the station.
It’s really massive, especially in-person.
It’s also a lot taller when you’re stating right next to the structure. Concept art goes only so far, once you’re here you realize how massive this contraption really is.
For reference, here’s the concept art for the station.
It’ll take guests over the Friendship boat dock and right past the France pavilion.
This first pillar is already painted a light shade of green, the back one isn’t touched yet.
The first pillar pre-painted before it was installed. It’s unlikely that they will be painting the other ones that are already installed.
