Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend presented by MISFIT™ will be taking place November 1-4, 2018 at Walt Disney World Resort. runDisney has officially released this year’s finisher medals.
With the marathon happening at the same time as the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, this year’s race weekend medals celebrate some of the popular classic Disney Chefs. Starting off the weekend, the Disney Fall Feast 5K returns for the second year. This race’s medal features Chef Tony and Lady and the Tramp.
The Disney Wine & Dine 10K participants will earn a medal featuring Chef Louis and Sebastian from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”
The central race, Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile course from the Magic Kingdom parking lot to the Epcot parking lot. This finishes off the weekend on November 4. Runners will receive a finisher medal inspired by the Tuscan countryside and featuring Chef Mickey.
Those taking on the Disney Two Course Challenge will win a beautiful rose gold medal celebrating Lumiere from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.”
Children can also get in on the fun! Those participating in runDisney Kids Races presented by GoGo squeeZ Applesauce on the Go will earn a medallion featuring Chef Linguini and Remy from “Ratatouille.”
