The Plaza Inn, at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland, is famous for fried chicken, but it’s worth a visit for their Halloween Time special offerings too!

The Plaza Inn has the crowd favorite Yule Log plus an interesting filled pound cake and an orange-and-green bundt cake.

The Chocolate Hazlenut Yule Log is back and as good as ever. The chocolatey hazlenutty creamy goodness is rolled up inside a moist chocolate cake with a wild colorful frosting on top.

The Mickey face made from black sugar adorns the top of  Main Street Mickey’s Pound Cake. Inside is a blueberry compote with cookie crumbles. This is a rather odd combination, but the cake was particularly moist and delicious, so I would recommend it.

The bundt cake was the surprise winner here. The fantastic cinnamon cake was perfectly moist, and the apple center provided a fruity contrast to the sweet orange glaze and green frosting.

Although the Plaza Inn offers three Halloween Time treats, and all of them are fine, I’d recommend making the short walk across Main Street to Jolly Holiday to get your Halloween Time desserts after your fried chicken lunch at the Plaza Inn. You’ll be glad you did.
