In light of some recent regrettable removals–Citizens of Hollywood, Oswald–we are pleased to pass along a delightful and welcome Walt Disney World addition. As if you needed one more reason to visit the Magic Kingdom, here’s a big one. We told you previously that the Plaza Restaurant would soon be offering breakfast, and today Disney confirmed the news.

At long last breakfast is coming to our favorite Main Street staple. The Plaza Restaurant will be serving up the most important meal of the day beginning November 4, until early January. Two words: Mickey Waffles. The iconic delicacy will usher in the fortunate and eager morning guests. Beyond that, the menu includes a Classic All-American Breakfast featuring scrambled eggs with breakfast potatoes, sausage, bacon, and a biscuit. Need more? How about Lobster Benedict with crispy fried green tomatoes, buttery lobster, two poached eggs, hollandaise, and house-made breakfast potatoes. In case you still had a mind to skip breakfast, a create-your-own-omelet station may well make you skip Space Mountain instead.

For the kids, it’s all about Mickey Waffles. They shall come with fresh-cut fruit, sausage, and bacon. These particular Mickey Waffles are served over banana cream, dusted with powdered sugar, and topped with Mickey-shaped sprinkles.

Breakfast at The Plaza Restaurant will be served daily from 8am to 10:30am, for a limited time starting on November 4 through January 5. Reservations are highly recommended.

I don’t know about you, but there are times when planning a Disney vacation can be overwhelming! There are so many options, where to stay, when to go, is this the best price. So, I want to introduce you all to Cindy Minor and the team at Small World Big Fun. They will help you plan your Disney vacation for FREE. Contact them today!

  • This is a travesty and goes against everything Walt wanted for the parks! Breakfast is a tool of the devil!
