The Refreshment Port s a year-round kiosk location at Epcot, serving the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup from the nearby Le Cellier, as well as poutine and ice cream. For the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, it adds two specialty poutine dishes. The 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival takes place August 30 – November 12, 2018.

Beef Brisket Poutine: French Fries with Beef Brisket, Beer Cheese Sauce, and Poutine Gravy topped with Crispy Onions – $8.69
We’re not quite sure how this qualifies as real poutine, but we’re willing to accept that piling meat and cheese on top of fries makes for one heck of a meal. Introducing the beef brisket poutine from the Refreshment Port, right before Canada on the World Showcase promenade. This ‘poutine’ comes loaded with the standard Disney fries topped with a gigantic portion of beef brisket that’s tender and juicy. Other quick services at Walt Disney World can’t figure out how to cook hamburgers, but Refreshment Port has this beef brisket figured out on day one and it’s a glorious experience. The cheese sauce and onions on top attach themselves to the fries making for forkfuls of enjoyment.
You’ll want to split this one with friends, it’s a gigantic portion. That’s probably the only time you’ll hear that in a Food and Wine article on this site…
Sweet Potato Poutine: Sweet Potato Fries with Caramel Sauce, Mini Marshmallows, and Pecans (V) – $6.49
These aren’t bad, but they can’t hold a candle to the brisket poutine above. The sweet potato poutine feels more like an episode of top chef where they need to incorporate McDonald’s into Thanksgiving and the best option is a sweet potato french fry casserole poutine. The fries are cooked to a good crispy exterior, which is rare for sweet potato fries at WDW. There’s enough caramel, pecans, and marshmallows to get some with each bite and the caramel sauce helps keep things together. That being said the marshmallows are flavorless and that’s where the dish falls apart.

Marshmallows generally aren’t vegetarian/vegan friendly (usually contain gelatin) so the vegetarian designation on the menu makes me question how Disney determines this. By now, they should have it figured out, but I guess not.
