At around 7:45 AM this morning, reports of a leaking Spaceship Earth began circulating Twitter. Water was dribbling out from the bottom of the geodesic sphere, flooding the outdoor queue area. Reedy Creek Fire Department was eventually spotted on the scene, but it appears to have been a minor leak. At around 4:30 PM today, it appears that Spaceship Earth is still… slightly drippy, but Disney claims that the attraction will reopen tomorrow.
Thankfully, there’s still plenty of stuff to do at Epcot today, including Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival! Check out our top seven picks from the Festival and let us know what you think.
UPDATE: Thank the Phoenicians! As of 7:15 PM, Spaceship Earth is back up and running with an approximate wait time of 30 minutes.
See what happens when Disney allows booze, Spaceship Earth empties it bladder on people. It already time traveled after blackouts. Spaceship Earth you have a problem when do you not host a giant drinking event?
Thanks for the laugh. LOL Phoenicians!
