It took many, many years for Disney to realize that Disney fashion need not be limited to generic, boxy printed tees. The good thing is, they’ve since upped their fashion game to the point where it’s hard to keep up with all the amazing collections announced week after week.
Thanks to collaborations with fashion houses and high-end brands like Dooney and Bourke, Coach, Irregular Choice, Toms, Danielle Nicole, and more, they’ve been able to take it up another step. Disney’s latest collab with Opening Ceremony celebrates Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday, and is now available on the last place we ever thought we’d see haute couture: ShopDisney.
Let’s take a look at all the amazing pieces available now, starting from most wearable to most bizarre:

This would actually make a very cute resort-hopping or park dress… if it didn’t cost about the same as a one-night, peak season stay at the Grand Floridian.

At least with this shirt you’d be getting something really unique. A highly structural piece, it features Mickey glove appliques on the front and back of each shoulder.

Quirky graphics are classic Opening Ceremony touches, and this jacket is no exception to that rule.

Keeping with the millennial pink trend with this skirt, the pockets feature Mickey Mouse screen art hand-drawn by Humberto Leon (Opening Ceremony co-founder) himself.

WDWNTips: Many designer collections go unsold on ShopDisney and eventually go on sale, so if you’re eager to own your own piece of Disney high fashion, your patience may be rewarded! (Just don’t wait too long as all these pieces are very limited edition.)
If you happen to be visiting Tokyo Disney Resort, you can visit Opening Ceremony’s cool four-story retail complex in the Harajuku district of Shibuya, just 30 minutes away.
You ladies do understand that most of those look completely stupid and people would make fun of you behind your back for wearing them, right?
