We will have to wait a little longer than expected to be able to join Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson aboard the Jungle Cruise .
The actor revealed Friday on Twitter that the movie, based on the popular ride, will hit theaters on July 24, 2020.
IT’S OFFICIAL – JULY 24th, 2020.
Ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages.

The film, which was shot on Hawaii and also stars Emily Blunt, was originally expected to be released next year, but there has been no word from Disney about why the release date has been changed.
A video released by Johnson earlier this year paid homage to the original Jungle Cruise attraction, which opened at Disneyland in 1955, and showed one of the biggest film sets ever built.
