Play Disney Parks App Adding Games in Pandora, Art of Animation Resort at Walt Disney World

Nothing beats going to Disney World or Disneyland, but waiting in lines can be fun for only so long. To combat waiting in lines Disney created the Play Disney Parks app to add a little extra immersion and keep the fun going while standing in line.

Play Disney Parks is adding “Stories of the Enchanted Gallery” at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This new game will allow you to animate the art that lines the walls of the resort. It will allow you to bring the art to life and create real stories based on popular animated movies we all know and love, such as The Lion King.

The second addition is the “ACE Guide to Pandora: Valley of Mo’ara Edition.” This app will come in use in Pandora: the World of Avatar. This expansion will allow you to join ACE (Alpha Centauri Expeditions) and explore the creatures, colors, and culture that is located all around you on Pandora. You simply scan your surroundings with your phone camera and will be able to meet the creatures that are hidden throughout the land, play music in the style of the indigenous people, as well as other games. There’s even some fun trivia to learn.

The Play Disney Parks app will continue to get more developments as time goes, but these are the two newest additions as of right now. The possibilities of the app are endless, as Disney has shown us here. Play Disney Parks will likely be an ever evolving app just as the parks are ever evolving. The app is available in the Apple App Store and in Google Play.
